“Let’s end the war on people and the Earth,” says local musician and activist Granny Rocks, aka Beth Green, who is returning to Our Revolution Lane County on Saturday, December 9, to address their regular meeting. She calls our society brutal to everyone, and at this event, she will describe how people think it’s normal to brutalize themselves, one another and the earth, and how we can change those expectations, so that together we can fight for a society that meets the needs of people and the earth. As always, Granny Rocks will intersperse her inspiring words with her original music and she’ll be distributing free copies of her latest CD, Rumblings of Revolution, to all attendees. There will also be a drawing for a free Granny Rocks T-shirt. As well as an accomplished musician, Beth is the founder of TheInnerRevolution.Org, which has just opened a branch in Eugene. She is a long-time spiritual activist and author of 6 books. Granny Rocks and Our Revolution had a thought-provoking meeting with Beth on August 5, and we are all pleased that she will be back. The gathering will take place from 11 am to 1 pm at Theo’s Coffee House, 199 W 8th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401.
